(Dienstauszeichnung Reichsarbeitsdienst IV. Klasse). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938-1943 issue). Constructed of bronzed cupal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse with a raised Reich Labour Service (RAD) insignia, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 32.85 mm (w) x 44.81 mm (h), weighing 10.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
