Germany, Third Reich. A Shooting Association Hansa District Champion's Award
(KKS = Deutsches Kartell für Sportschiessen): Bronze with a silver wash, unmarked, illustrating the German Shooting Association "KKS" insignia in the centre, voided around the letters, the outer ring inscribed "GAUMEISTERSCHAFT 1936" above and "GAU HANSA" flanked by swastikas below, the two inscriptions separated by four oak leaves on either side, 63.7 mm, with evidence of something having been severed from the award along the bottom edge, overall loss of the wash on the obverse, better than very fine.
