Constructed of silvered zink, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central raised German national eagle clutching a rifle, flanked by a target overlaid by a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “KREIS-SCHIESSEN KUFSTEIN 1942”, the reverse maker marked “C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 36.44 mm (w) x 43.90 mm (h), weighing 22.5 grams, with loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
