Germany, Third Reich. A 1944 Tirol Shooting Badge
(Schützenabzeichen). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a red-painted Tirol-style German national eagle, clutching a target overlaid by a swastika and flanked by a date of “1944”, above an inscription of “WEHRMANN”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked “CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
