Footnote: Wilhelm Conrad Röngten (March 27, 1845 - February 10, 1923) was a German mechanical engineer and physicist who was the first individual to produce x-rays on November 8th, 1895, when he produced and detected electromagnetic radiation. In German, X-Rays are named “Röntgen”.
