A Unique DJ/SS/SA/DAF/RAD 1938 Leipzig District Council Day Badge Karl Wurster
This is an exceptional 1938 Leipzig District Council Day Badge (21-22.May.1938), bearing the symbols of the DJ (Deutsche Jugend/German Youngsters, the SS (Schutzstaffel/Protection Squad), the SA (Sturmabteilung), the DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront/German Labour Front), and the RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst/National Labour Service). It is constructed of zink, with a horizontal pinback, and maker marked “K. Wurster, Markneukirchen” on the reverse. It measures 61 mm x 40 mm, and is in very fine condition.
