Germany, Heer. A German Army Etched Bayonet
(Heer Bajonett). A Second War German Army etched bayonet measuring 350 mm, with the scabbard on, featuring a 195 mm nickel-plated steel blade, etched with a ribbon banner inscribed “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” (“In Memory of My Service”) and graphics of a Stahlhelm and Heer-style national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the blade’s ricasso is unmarked, light wear, exhibiting some scratching overall common to extraction and return to the scabbard, the black leather washer remains intact, both plates of the black synthetic grip are firmly held in place by two magnetic rivets, black metal magnetic scabbard with ball finial shows very minimal contact marks, attached to black leather frog with heavy, durably stitching, overall in very fine condition.
