What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Unit Marked Police Long Bayonet

Unit Marked Police Long Bayonet - Stag Handle, Unit Marked Police Long Bayonet, with MATCHING scabbard; nice early quality, un-slotted dress bayonet, with approximately 33 cm (13 inches) long nickel plated steel blade. Blade is nice and bright, of excellent quality, maker marked P.D. Luneschloss, Solingen (a scarce maker of police bayonets). Both blade and scabbard throat are unit marked S.D.IV. 491. The leather washer is not present. The bayonet grip is made of simulated stag-horn, with aluminum police insignia firmly attached on one side, all sandwiched between upswept cross guard decorated with oak leaves, and topped by stylized eagle’s head. Both cross guard and eagle’s head and well detailed and in excellent condition. In extremely fine condition, and a nice example.
