Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Germany, NSFK. A National Socialist Flyers Corps Model 1934 Knife, by Stöcker & Co.

(Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Fliegermesser). A National Socialist Flyers Corps (NSDK) Model 1934 Knife, measuring 335 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. The knife features a 175 mm-long magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and semi-sharpened edges. The blade sits securely within the ribbed and downward-swept nickel-silver crossguard, with the seam covered by an intact blue leather buffer pad. Near the reverse ricasso, the blade bears a maker’s mark of “SMF, SOLINGEN”, for Stöcker & Co., topped by the firm’s logo of a seated swordsman. Each side of the crossguard bears a central black mobile swastika. The handle is composed of a curved piece of wood fully lined with a blue leather exterior liner. It completes with a rounded nickel-silver pommel, which is screwed in and securely maintains the structure of the knife. It is accompanied by its period original scabbard, constructed of a magnetic metal shaft, wrapped around the midsection with blue leather. Both the tip and throat features silvered fixtures, each secured in place by dual side rivets. The throat fixture retains a functional spring catch, securely holding the knife in place during storage. It also bears an integral loop and suspension ring connecting to a period original dagger hanger consisting of a blackened leather strap bearing a functional silvered spring clip. Both the knife and scabbard bear a number of additional marks, including engravings of “TS1” and “413” on the crossguard of the former, as well as a NSFK logo on the tip of the throat fixture of the latter. Issues consisting with age and use are evident, including oxidation and running marks to the blade, further oxidation and loss of finish to the nickel-silver elements, and extensive material fatigue and loss of the leather elements. It is in an overall fair condition.
