Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Dagger Hanger by F.W. Assmann & Söhne

(Dolchgehänge). A Luftwaffe officer’s dagger hanger, consisting of a functional zink spring clip adorned with raised oak leaves, with dual integrated loops similarly bearing raised oak leaves, each wrapped with flattened zink bands with oak leaf designs, bearing magnetic metal rivets holding in place straps constructed of a dark grey wool base, with dark grey rayon straps trimmed with dual bands of silver aluminum wire stitched onto the obverse, each strap completes with a zink spring clip, one with an adjustable zink buckle, the uniform clip bears the logo of maker F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 260 mm in length as presented, one strap is missing its buckle while the opposite strap is missing the catch for its spring clip, in overall near very fine condition.
