Germany, Third Reich. A Social Welfare Official’s Dagger Hanger
(Dolch Gehänge). A Social Welfare Official’s dagger hanger, consisting of a functional aluminum spring catch with dual loops emanating from the bottom, descending from each strap is light slate-grey doeskin strap topped by a silvered aluminum wire tresse, each in turn flanked by machine-embroidered dark grey tresses and adjusted with functional aluminum buckles, both completing in functional silvered zink alloy spring clips to lock onto the dagger’s scabbard loops, unmarked, measuring 27 cm in total length as presented, moderate loss of finish is visible to the metal fixtures, a scarce hanger in near extremely fine condition.
