What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A pair of Police portepees, including an Officer’s example, consisting of a stylized acorn constructed of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire, suspended from a black rayon cord with a central machine-embroidered red band flanked by silver aluminum wire, unmarked, measuring 440 mm in total length, the acorn’s centrepiece has frayed, in overall very fine condition, and; an EM/NCO’s portepee, consisting of a stylized acorn constructed of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire with green threading, suspended from a black rayon cord with a central machine-embroidered red band flanked by silver aluminum wire, unmarked, measuring 250 mm in length as presented, in unissued and extremely fine condition.
