What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A lot of portepees and cords, including a Heer portepee, consisting of a stylized acorn constructed of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire, suspended from a cord of identical construction, unmarked, measuring 250 mm in length as presented, in near extremely fine condition; an Ordnungspolizei EM/NCO’s portepee, consisting of a stylized acorn constructed of multiple rows of twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire with green threading, suspended from a black rayon strap bearing machine-embroidered red threaded and silver aluminum wire tresses, unmarked, measuring 430 mm in total length, in near extremely fine condition, and; an unknown chinstrap cord, constructed of multiple rows of twisted and rolled gold bullion wire, unmarked, measuring 295 mm in total length, in extremely fine condition.
