An 1933 EM-SS Dagger by Robert Klass, Solingen
The upper and lower crossguards are of plated nickel-silver variety, and aside from usual wear marks remain in fine condition. The black ebony grip shows small wood chippings, and moderate wear. The eagle and SS runes are problem free, in very fine condition. The blade is in very fine condition overall, and well marked "Robert Klass Solingen"; obverse bears SS-motto "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue". The early oxidized steel scabbard shell is straight throughout and features all nickel silver upper and lower fittings; ball at the bottom slightly bruised/flattened. Attached to scabbard is a leather hanger, with nickel-silver clip, in very fine condition. Overall this dagger grades in very fine condition.
