A Rare German NSKOV Veteran's Organisation Long Bayonet by Alcoso

National Socialist War Victim's Care; Made by Alcoso, marked Alexander Coppel Soligen - total length 45cm. Stag horn grips with unique veteran's stickpin; patina nicely throughout. Stamped markings - S.Ar.1040.; on the crossguards; blade has some minor signs of wear but is otherwise in excellent overall condition without any chips or rust. Leather sheath has some signs of wear, with light rust on the guard. Ripped button clasp, and some softer cracking leather near the bottom of the sheath but otherwise still very stiff and strong leather throughout. The leather frog is marked on reverse and although worn appears to show the date 1938; the leather front strap on the frog has broken overtime; overall very fine.
