What's a max bid?

An HJ Knife by Gebruder Bell KG

An HJ Knife by Gebruder Bell KG - This knife measures 258 mm in length with the scabbard on, steel blade with the Hitler Youth motto "Blut und Ehre" (Blood and Honor) on the obverse, the initials "H A" stamped on the obverse ricasso, maker marked "Gebruder Bell KG, Solingen-Grafrath" with the company's "GB" monogram and marked "GES. GESCHÜTZT" on the reverse ricasso, with a sharp blade and semi-sharp tip. Blade exhibits faint scratches overall, common to extraction and return to the scabbard, and a natural shine, along with some surface wear, the blade measuring 25 mm x 139 mm. Black buffer pad remains intact, nickel-plated hilt fittings with embedded black celluloid plates on either side held firmly in place with two rivets, the obverse plate with an enamelled HJ insignia, flaking of the nickel plated finish and contact marks, all metal fittings are magnetic, measuring 245 mm in length overall. Steel scabbard had been re-painted in the traditional black look, original underlying bubbling of the metal remains visible through the new paint application on the reverse, original black leather belt strap attached via two large rivets, reinforcing strap at the top with snap closure, leather remains relatively supple with light crazing. Very fine.
