This is a mint and unissued numbered, labeled, and dated envelope containing a single forestry Anwärter für den höheren Forstdienst collar tab; the tab in its original cellophane wrapper; constructed of very fine quality manufacture aluminum twisted wire in the shape of four twigs, one in each corner, each with three oak leaves and two acorns, with a forest-green woolen backer, standard buckram core, and edged on all four sides with fine quality twisted wire fastened to the sides using invisible green threads; measuring 57 mm x 41 mm. Accompanied by its factory attached quality control tag, numbered “6468” with its description, dated “28.11.1941”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; with its crimped seal (magnetic). With its original envelope; labeled “Collar tab for Anwärter f. d. Höheren Forstdienst”, numbered “9468”, dated “12.11.41”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; measuring 161 mm x 113 mm; in top condition. (C: 166)
