This is a mint and unissued numbered, labeled, and dated envelope containing a single Forestry visor cap wreath and cockade; in its original cellophane wrapper; constructed of very fine quality manufacture aluminum twisted and flat wire in the shape of an oak wreath with eight acorns; with a centrally located padded cockade with black and aluminum twisted wire and a red felt core; on a forest-green woolen backer and a grey rayon reverse; measuring 126 mm x 42 mm. Accompanied by its factory attached quality control tag, numbered “5679” with its description, dated “17.6.1938”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; with its crimped seal (magnetic). With its original envelope; labeled “Forestry Visor Cap”, numbered “5679”, dated “17.6.38”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; measuring 161 mm x 113 mm; in top condition.
