A Mint & Unissued Ober Forstwart Collar Tab by Thile & Steinert; Dated 1941

This is a mint and unissued numbered, labeled, and dated envelope containing a single forestry Ober Forstwart collar tab; the tab in its original cellophane wrapper; constructed of very fine quality manufacture aluminum twisted wire in the shape three vertically positioned oak leaves in the centre of the tab, with a forest-green woolen backer, standard buckram core, and edged on all four sides with fine quality twisted wire fastened to the sides using invisible green threads; measuring 57 mm x 41 mm. Accompanied by its factory attached quality control tag, numbered “6467” with its description, dated “28.11.1941”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; with its crimped seal (magnetic). With its original envelope; labeled “Collar tab for Ober Forstwart”, numbered “9467”, dated “12.11.41”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; measuring 161 mm x 113 mm; in top condition.
