A Set of German Army Major General Shoulder Boards 1942-1943
Two rows of silvered aluminum bullion wire, in a chevron formation, flanked by rows of thatched gold-coloured bullion wire wrapped around yellow embroidered cord, in a interwoven braided pattern, loop creating a button hole for uniform attachment, the edges and underside in red wool, measuring 40 mm x 109 mm, evidence of a single missing pip on each board making these Major General (Generalleutnant) boards, otherwise extremely fine.
