A Mint and Unissued Revierjäger Sleeve Patch by Thile & Steinert; Dated 1935
This is a mint and unissued numbered, labeled, and dated envelope containing a single forestry Revierjäger sleeve patch; the patch in its original cellophane wrapper; constructed of very fine quality manufacture golden twisted wire in the shape of a french horn decorated with golden oak leafs, with an oval border in equally golden twisted wire; the reverse with a dark blue paper backer; measuring 80 mm x 63 mm. Accompanied by its factory attached quality control tag, numbered “4384”, with its description, dated “20.6.1935”, delivered to M. Krause, Berlin, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; with its crimped seal (magnetic). With its original envelope; labeled “Armabz.”, numbered “4384”, and with the factory’s maker mark “Thile & Steinert, Berlin”; measuring 161 mm x 113 mm; in top condition. (C: 166)
