An unissued example of a second war Luftwaffe visor cap wreath; constructed of rolled, flat, and twisted silver aluminum bullion embroidery in the shape of two leafy stems of oak leaves tied together with a ribbon on the bottom, and a metal tri-colour cockade; mounted on a padded and vaulted black wool core, with both prongs visible on the reverse; navy coloured rayon and black paper backing; measuring 144 mm (w) x 46 mm (h); in overall near mint condition.
