An absolutely mint example of a third reich period Wehrmacht Heer (Army) NCO’s visor cap wreath; constructed of rolled, flat, and twisted silver aluminum bullion embroidery in the shape of two leafy stems of oak leaves tied together with a ribbon on the bottom, and a bullion tri-colour cockade; mounted on a padded and vaulted dark green wool core, with a black paper backer; measuring 76 mm (w) x 50 mm (h); small holes in the backer from previous attachment to a salesman’s board, in overall mint and unissued condition.
