An example of a uniform removed, early transitional period Wehrmacht Heer (Army) overseas cap eagle; constructed of rolled silvered bullion wire in the shape of a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons; on a forest green wool backer; the reverse with its paper backer well preserved - showing small holes from where it was stitched onto the uniform; measuring 64 mm (w) x 34 mm (h); uniform removed; in overall better than fine condition.
