What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

(Steuermannsabzeichen). A sleeve insignia, indicating qualification as pilot (helmsman) for motorboats on inland waters, consisting of a helm-wheel superimposed on an anchor on an oval base in machine embroidered aluminum thread, constructed on bluish-dark green badge cloth, measures 52 mm (w) x 76 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition, accompanied by a picture postcard presenting a black-and-white photograph of a Pionier Feldwebel bearing the same sleeve insignia.
