What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A lot of nine Heer uniform rank and trade insignia, including a Heer Officer’s breast eagle, constructed of dark green wool, topped by a layer of dark green rayon, in turn bearing a machine-embroidered flat silver wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), the reverse with the remnants of an adhesive, in overall near extremely fine condition; an EM/NCO’s breast eagle, constructed of field-grey rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 115 mm (w) x 56 mm (h), in unissued and extremely fine condition; a Smoke/Chemical Troops Hauptmann shoulder board, constructed of cardboard-reinforced Bourdeaux-red/purple wool, bearing four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with two zink rank pips, unmarked, measuring 34 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), in better than very fine condition; a Supply Troops Unteroffizier strap, constructed of dark green wool, trimmed with light blue piping, and bordered by a silver aluminum wire tresse, the reverse with an integrated wool strap, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), with minor material fatigue evident, in overall near extremely fine condition; a Jäger sleeve badge, constructed of field-grey rayon, the obverse bearing three machine-embroidered green oak leaves within a knotted wreath, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 84 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition; a Medical Orderly insignia, constructed of field-grey wool twill, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow insignia, the reverse bearing an unidentified maker’s mark, measuring 55 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; a Motor Transport Specialist insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow insignia, unmarked, measuring 55 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; an Ordnance NCO’s insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing hand-embroidered golden-yellow crossed rifles, unmarked, measuring 55 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Farrier sleeve insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered golden-yellow horseshoe, unmarked, measuring 55 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
