Germany, Luftwaffe. A Pair of Very Rare Ministry of Aviation Flight Detachment Unteroffizier Shoulder Straps

(Schulterklappen). A pair of shoulder straps constructed of Luftwaffe blue-grey wool, with bright silvered aluminum tresses sewn to all but one end (denoting the rank of Unteroffizier), with golden-yellow waffenfarbe piping along the edges (denoting Flugbereitschaft/Flight Detachment), the obverse presents the initials “RLM” for Reichsluftfahrtministerium (Ministry of Aviation), in golden-yellow embroidery, each strap measuring 45 mm (w) x 110 mm (h), and in extremely fine condition.
