Germany, NSKK. A National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) Crash Helmet Eagle by Paulmann & Crone
(NSKK Mützenadler). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a detailed NSKK-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed black mobile swastika, the reverse with two sets of dual attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code “M1/78” for maker Paulmann & Crone, Lüdenscheid, measuring 125 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), missing one set of reverse attachment prongs, with some minor dents and oxidation evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
