Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Insignia
(Drittes Reich Insignien). A mixed lot of three insignia, including a NSDAP member’s armband, constructed of red cotton, the exterior bearing a machine-embroidered white cotton disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, the reverse with a BeVo mark, measuring 195 mm (w) x 100 mm (h) when folded flat, with minor soiling evident, in near extremely fine condition; a HJ official’s cap eagle, constructed of zink, the reverse retaining one of three attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/100” for Werner Redo, Saarlautern, measuring 68 mm (w) x 34 mm (h), with all of the original finish lost, in fair condition, and; a Heer commemorative medallion, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse bearing a raised profile of a Heer soldier wearing a Stahlhelm, unmarked, measuring 50 mm in diameter, with some oxidation and loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
