Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia
(Insignien). A mixed lot of three uniform insignia, including a Luftwaffe Observer’s Badge, cloth version, constructed of grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 64 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) cap insignia, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a NSDAP Kreis-level Hauptabschnittsleiter collar tab, constructed of dark brown doeskin wool with a buckram core, trimmed with white piping, and bearing gilded zink insignia, the reverse retaining a partially-intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label, measuring 45 mm (w) x 65 mm (l), with material fatigue and loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
