Germany, Wehrmacht. A Group of Uniform Eagle Insignia
(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A group of three Wehrmacht uniform eagle insignia, including a Heer (Army) officer’s tunic breast eagle, constructed of a forest green wool, bearing a machine-embroidered, silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse marked “39”, measuring 100 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in better than very fine condition; a Luftwaffe officer’s tunic breast eagle, constructed of a dark grey wool backer, bearing a machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse marked “515”, measuring 90 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in poor condition, and; a Sturmabteilung (SA) kepi eagle, constructed of silvered bronze, consisting of a SA eagle clutching a wreathed black mobile swastika, with one of two reverse attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in very fine condition.
