Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Shoulder Boards

(Schulterklappen). A mixed lot of four shoulder boards, including a Finnish Civil Guards strap, constructed of a black wool base, trimmed with rose-pink piping, bordered by a silver aluminum wire tresse, and pinned with a silvered bronze rank pip and gilded bronze Civil Guards cypher, retaining an original silvered bronze button, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 130 mm (l), with material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition; a Finnish Officer’s board, constructed of cardboard-reinforced black wool, bearing four bands of silver aluminum wire, and pinned with a silvered cypher, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), in fair condition; also including two Wehrmacht Major shoulder board overlays, each constructed of four bands of interwoven silver aluminum wire piping, both unmarked and measuring 32 mm (w) x 95 mm (l), in fair condition.
