A grouping of Luftwaffe trade insignia, including a Motor Vehicle Driver’s Trade Badge, consisting of a Luftwaffe blue-grey wool base with a machine-embroidered, Luftwaffe-style eagle superimposed over the likeness of a vehicle radiator grill, in silver-grey thread, measuring 54 mm in diameter, and in extremely fine condition. A Sound Location Operator’s Badge, constructed of a Luftwaffe blue-grey wool base, with a machine-embroidered, central, serrated horizontal bar with eight lightning bolts emanating diagonally outward from the centre, with four lightning bolts to the top and the other four to the bottom of the central bar, positioned above a Gothic style H for Horchfunker (Sound Locator), in silver-grey thread, measuring 55 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition. An Ordnance Personnel’s Trade Badge, constructed of a Luftwaffe blue-grey wool base, with a large central, machine-embroidered, Gothic/Fraktur style F for Feuerwerker (Ordnance Artificer), in silver-grey thread, measuring 53 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition. An Air Signals B Class Telephone Operator’s Trade Badge, constructed of a Luftwaffe blue-grey wool base, with a large central, machine-embroidered, intertwined, zig-zagged lightning bolts, in silver-grey thread, measuring 51 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition.
