What's a max bid?

(Luftwaffe Ärmelabzeichen für Entfernungsmesser der Flakartillerie). A trade insignia constructed of Luftwaffe-grey wool, with white machine-embroidery of a gothic-style capital letter “E” for “Entfernungsmesser” (Range-Finder”) set above a garb of oak leaves gathered and tied at the base, which in turn is positioned above a mobile swastika, the whole design is flanked by a pair of stylized, feathered wings, edged all around with a twisted gold cording symbolizing over one year’s service within that trade, measuring 98 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), and in overall better than extremely fine condition.
