A Rare Second War Fidelity Badge of the Flemish Volunteers in the N.S.K.K.

Belgium; Badge in die stamped bronze, 37.1mm x 41.25mm, lugs on reverse, excellent quality, in mint condition, rare. The badge was worn by the Flemish Volunteers in the N.S.K.K., who were members of the V.N.V. (Vlaamsch National Verbond, or Flamish National Union); this pro-German organization in Belgium (also known as "Black Brigades", because of colors of their uniforms), was based on similar principles and goals established by Nazi regime in Germany, and had similar organizations, but in much smaller numbers.
