Constructed of a black wool base, the obverse bears four rows of interwoven silver/aluminum Russian braid, with black cord piping on three sides, the reverse bears a reinforced silver coloured metal grommet, one board bears a silver coloured pebbled button and a RZM tag in blue and black ink and numbered “No. 014792”, the shoulder bord without the button is missing rank insignia, shoulder board with button measuring 31.05 mm (w) x 133.02 mm (h), shoulder board without button measuring 29.61 mm (w) x 124.32 mm (h), very fine.
