Germany. A Mint Set of National Protection Police Shoulder Boards
This is a mint and unissued set of third reich period shoulder boards belonging to a Wachtmeister of the Schutzpolizei (Guard [NCO Equivalent] of the National Protection Police); constructed of two rows of brown embroidered cord flanked by two rows of fine aluminum wire interlaced with black threading; all wrapped in a U-shape chevron formation; with an apple-green backer indicating “Schutzpolzei” branch; tied together by a maker’s tag by “Carld Siedler Uniformeffekten-Fabrik, Wien VII Zieglergasse 43 Rf B 310 06, B3 84 65” in black ink; measuring 116 mm (w) x 34 mm (h); in mint and unissued condition.
