What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Reichsbahn Insignia Set; First Pattern - Pay Groups 9 and 9a c. 1936 - Collar Tab Pair (gilt aluminum winged-wheel Reichsbahn cypher on black felt uppers, trimmed in red wool, burlap backers, 31 mm x 85.5 mm and 31.5 mm x 87 mm respectively); and Shoulder Board Pair (Epaulettes) (four rows of gold-coloured threading interlaced with navy blue threading in a u-shape, the inner two rows dominated by the gold threading, the outer two rows in equal proportions, the threading in chevron formation, two gilt aluminum pips and a buttonhole slot on each, red wool backers, 26.5 mm x 108 mm and 26.5 x 110 mm respectively, threading remaining at the flat end where they were originally attached at the shoulder seams).
