What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A French Made Kriegsmarine E-Boat Badge; First Type

A textbook example of a first style Kriegsmarine “Schnellboot Kriegsabzeichen”; in silvered and gilded zink; the obverse constructed of a gilded oak leaf wreath with a national eagle with spread-out wings on the top of the wreath clutching a mobile swastika, and a ribbon on the bottom, with an E-Boat cutting through a series of waves (of note are the trademark first pattern waves); the reverse plain, with a horizontal banjo style pinback and a functional hinge/catch assembly in addition to the stabilizer pin on the top of the badge; measuring 55.24 mm x 41.21 mm; weighing 22.6 grams; with the gilding on the wreath entirely worn off, but with the silver-wash on the badge nicely preserved; a proudly worn example; in better than fine condition.
