A textbook High Seas Fleet “Flottenkriegsabzeichen” badge by this maker (1942-1944 manufacture); in gilded zink with all of its original gilding worn off; straight vertical pinback with a crimped ball hinge and catch; vaulted; maker marked “RS & S” (Richard Simm & Söhne, Gablonz) on the reverse; measuring 57.36 mm x 43.57 mm; weighing 32.2 grams; in very fine worn condition.
