(Abzeichen für Blockadebrecher). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a circular chain wreath, with a central blockade runner cutting through waves, with the bow overlaid by a German national eagle in mid-flight and clutching a swastika, the reverse with a raised crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Förster & Barth, Pforzheim, measuring 49.72 mm (w) x 49.25 mm (h), weighing 37.0 grams, some loss of finish apparent, with evidence of catch repair or replacement, in better than very fine condition.
