What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a frontal depiction of a battleship cutting through waves, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, designer marked “ADOLF BOCK”, maker marked “SCHWERIN, BERLIN”, measuring 44.22 mm (w) x 57.10 mm (h), weighing 33.0 grams, with minor wear of finish evident in addition to catch repair, in overall better than very fine condition.
