(Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd- und Sicherungsverbände). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with a central depiction of a sea mine exploding, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Adolf Schwerdt, Stuttgart, measuring 45.06 mm (w) x 56.13 mm (h), weighing 26.0 grams, minor loss of finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
