Germany, Luftwaffe. A Squadron Clasp for Bomber Pilots by G.H. Osang
An interwar example of a Squadron Clasp for Fighter and Dive Bomber Pilots (Spange für Kampf und Sturzkampfflieger); in silvered and patinated zink; the obverse with a central downward-sloping winged bomb within a laurel wreath, with a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath and nine oak leaves on either side of the wreath; horizontal slender banjo style pinback with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; measuring 76.23 mm x 26.08 mm; marked on reverse for G.H. Osang, weighing 17.1 grams; a gently worn example with the majority of the original silver wash remaining; in overall very fine condition. Good Example.
