An early Second War quality Luftwaffe Squadron Clasp for Bomber Pilots; bronze grade; in bronzed tombac; broad horizontal pinback with a functional hinge/catch assembly; unmarked; measuring 75.90 mm x 25.58 mm; weighing 19.8 grams. Accompanied by its original case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed paper with a lightly textured dark blue faux leather (leatherette) exterior; embossed “Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger - bronze” on the exterior of the lid; functional push button; intact interior fabric hinge cover; functional but fragile exterior metal hinge; measuring 90 mm x 42 mm; better than very fine condition.
