(Frontflugspange für Kampf- und Sturzkampfflieger in Bronze mit Etui). Constructed of bronzed zink alloy, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel wreath joined together at the bottom by a swastika, overlaid by a winged bomb, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, with a single visible rivet holding the obverse bomb in place, unmarked, measuring 75.98 mm (w) x 25.40 mm (h), weighing 17.6 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux grey leather exterior, the exterior lid with a gold embossed inscription of “FRONTFLUGSPANGE FÜR KAMPFFLIEGER BRONZE”, the interior with a white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted white felt medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 42 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
