Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreathed, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting round wire catch affixed to a rectangular baseplate, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 45.60 mm (w) x 63.36 mm (h) (inclusive of eagle), weighing 32.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
