(Luftwaffe Bordfunkerabzeichen). Instituted 1935 (Issued 1935-1942). Constructed of tombak consisting of a thick oval wreath with laurel leaves towards the left side of the wreath, oak leaves towards the right side, with a mobile swastika at the base, and an eagle superimposed in the centre with lightning bolts in its talons, the reverse plain with a vertical pinback, integrated cast hinge, and a crimped round wire catch, marked with “IMME & SOHN BERLIN” on the reverse, weighing 32 grams, measuring 40.41 mm (w) x 52.64 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
