(Regiment “General Göring” Flak-Schießen Plakette). A rare 1938 Regiment General Göring flak shooting plaque, constructed of grained wooden base, the obverse bearing a finely-detailed silvered bronze depiction of a Flak 88 manned by six Luftwaffe personnel, flanked by a silvered bronze shield bearing Hermann Göring’s personal coat of arms, above an inscription of “R.G.G.” (“REGIMENT GENERAL GÖRING”), topped by an inscription of “FLAK-SCHIEßEB 1938”, the reverse with dual magnetic metal attachment hooks, unmarked, measuring 338 mm (w) x 196 mm (h), some scrating of the wood and oxidation of the bronze features evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
