Germany, Luftwaffe. A Unit Squadron Clasp for Air to Ground Support Fighters, Silver Grade, by GH. Osang
(Frontflugspange für Schlachtflieger). Instituted on January 30, 1941 by Hermann Göring. (Instituted 1941-1945). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse with a central laurel wreath with a set of crossed swords in the center and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, and with nine oak leaves on either side of the wreath, the reverse plain, with a banjo style pinback, a barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch, marked “GH. Osang, Brehmen” on the reverse, measuring 76.49 mm (w) x 26.07 mm (h), weighing 15.6 grams, in fair condition.
